    De koppelomvormerkoppeling (TCC) -ontkoppelingsschakelaar maakt deel uit van de handmatige klepstandschakelaar van de automatische transmissievloeistofdruk (TFP). De TFP-manuele klepstandschakelaar is gemonteerd op het huis van de transmissieklep. De TCC-ontgrendelingsschakelaar is een normaal gesloten schakelaar.

    Wanneer de TCC wordt vrijgegeven, opent de TCC-vloeistofdruk de TCC-ontgrendelingsschakelaar die het TCC-releasedrukcircuit opent. Wanneer de spanning op het circuit hoog is (schakelaar open), wordt de aandrijflijnbesturingsmodule (PCM) herkent dat de TCC niet langer is ingeschakeld.
